This city, also knows as Urbs Nobilissima, is the second largest in Veneto.  The artistic heritage is magnificently preserved, and includes some of the most breath-taking monuments in the country!  The Roman Amphitheater, or Arena, constructed in the first century outside of the city walls, is a gorgeous backdrop to Verona’s community square, Piazza Bra, which includes many bars, restaurants and souvenir shops to visit and enjoy.  It is the perfect place to take in mouth-watering Italian cuisine and later appreciate an opera or concert in the large Arena.

Verona is one of the most prosperous cities in Northern Italy and looks its best at all times.  The streets are immaculate, the people are elegantly dressed, and the hotels are the most chic in the land!  Walk the “Via Giuseppe” hand in hand from Piazza Bra to Piazza delle Erbe and take-in one of the most picturesque squares in Italy, filled with appealing Roman buildings and sculptures, like the Madonna Verona Fountain.

Visit the 13th century home of Shakespeare’s Juliet, as well as Casa Montecchi, the residence of her lover, Romeo (just a few minutes walk away).  There are also a number of spectacular churches for a Catholic wedding in Verona, including the old Santa Maria Church and Sant’Anaztasia, the biggest in Verona.  Inside this Gothic temple, you can value Pisanello’s “Saint George and the Princess” among many other fascinating artworks.
