The far west of the country is covered with wetlands, known as the Pantanal region. Half the size of France, this area is home to a huge variety of wildlife. Another stunning natural feature is the Iguaçu Falls, near the border with Argentina and Paraguay. They are two miles wide, and 262 feet deep.
