Wedding in Ravello and Honeymoon in Italy

What a wonderful wedding and honeymoon you set up for us. Arriving in Rome and staying at Hotel Sole al Pantheon with the spectacular view of the Pantheon was totally awesome. We were completely lost for the first day trying to find sites and then trying find our location on the map. The inside of churches were breathtaking as were the statues in the piazzas. Rome is so incredible we just wanted to see everything possible in two days. After a couple of days we had the city down but everything was a whirlwind experience, we will be back to soak it up, only slowly the next time.
I could of used a lesson in a train station before leaving, like which bin/lane to locate your train, knowing what car to get on. I don't think we ever sat in our first class seats out of the three different times we road the train. Train travelling would be so different having less luggage too, it was quite the experience with the pick pocket thieves and beggars.
The Santa Lucia hotel was lovely with all its marble throughout and in our room we had another spectacular view overlooking the sea from our room with a castle and fort. We were given a warm welcome upon arrival by the front desk and they had a very good piano player that filled the hotel with music. We didn't get to see much in the city of Naples staying there only one night and completing the paperwork on the next day. It all went so smoothly with Bruno. It was interesting to us since we work in the law field to see the governmental buildings a little part of Italy that you wouldn't normally chose to see. We ate the best pizza in Italy across the street from our hotel adjacent to the castle.
After completing the paperwork we were on our way in our car driving down the Amalfi Coast which was absolutely gorgeous arriving in Ravello at the Hotel Villa Rufolo. I can't even remember who show us to our room but when she open the shutters to sliding glass doors I started to cry because the view was spectacular. The person thought I was disappointed, I had to tell her that it was joy. When I looked out our window from our room the view gave me a certain enchantment feeling like this was a fairytale. The flower arrangement you had in the room to welcome us was appreciated every time we came back into the room and could smell the flowers.

The assistant/interpreter is such a sweet person, she took good care of us getting all the paperwork finalized. How I wished I had brought a tape recorder for taping our vows. It was so different hearing it spoke in Italian from the Mayor then hearing interpreting it. It will certainly be something that will never be forgotten. The interpreter spent time explaining the history and stories of Rufolo and gave us the grand tour of this cute little town.
What a fabulous wedding present that you had the assistant/interpreter give to us from euroservices. It is a perfect keepsake having a beautiful book from the town that you were married in and then getting the mayor's signature, not to mention the CD, which we have been playing each morning at breakfast. Thank you so much it was so very thoughtful and we both love your gift.
Our wedding day was so romantic. Never did we ever regret doing this without family and friends. All day we were so into each other. We were wished congratulations over two hundred times in Italian by the town people of Ravello. It was such a great feeling to be the center of attention in a small town and to have complete strangers wishing you luck.
We can't wait to see the pictures, it's a good thing assistant/interpreter stayed with us because there were a few times the photographer wanted us to pose a certain way and I had no idea what he was asking us to do. Since I'm scared of heights it's a good thing assistant/interpreter took us all around the day before so I could practice getting out on that ledge that overlooks the whole coast. We said our good byes to assistant/interpreter and the photographer when they dropped us off at the restaurant. Our meal was absolutely suburb, we had the dinning room to ourselves overlooking the mountain side with all the little towns filtering down to the coast. . They served us a seven coarse meal that was the best food on our trip. They made sure that it wasn't rushed, I think we were there eating for over three hours. What a surprise, the wedding cake was to die for. The afternoon at Villa Maria was most romantic.
On the following day went to Capri. The boat ride scenery of the coast was beautiful. We must of covered the whole island that day.
Onward to Florence, the Villa Cora is an elegant hotel, it is just amazing that it used to be someone's summer villa. The view was fantastic of Florence from our room, but the most awesome view was taking the spiral staircase to the rooftop, a view of all four angles.
The guide took us to visit the Uffizi Gallery. We would have been lost not having a guide, she knew so much about the paintings. Learning the history about certain paintings was interesting, rather than seeing picture after picture. We're actually going to remember some of them because of guide's stories.
When you gave us a sample of the itinerary and said that this special tour was suggested, we are so glad that we took your advice. The day with Julian was great, we learned so much about history, culture, food, agriculture and the land you name it we talked about everything. We had the best lunch at a Tuscan trattoria that was without a doubt one of our best meals in Italy. Even though we couldn't speak any Italian, we totally enjoyed our visit with the owner.
The winery we visited was very impressive, it had state of the art new technology wine making machinery. It certainly was an experience testing wine at 10:30 a.m.
The most impressive place we visited that day was a place called the Abbey that used to house 75 monks back in 970, there were four living there at the present time. Because it was so old everything about this place was unique.
Later in the afternoon we visited a medieval town, it is amazing how well the town was kept to preserve the history. Julian had to take us back to our hotel because I had taken your advise and made dinner reservations at the Al Cinghiale Bianco (The White Boar), very good. Besides my wedding day this day with our guide/chauffeur has to be second on the list of best days on vacation.
This vacation was like a dream come true, it was filled with the most memorable experiences. We would like to thank everyone for all their efforts of making our dreams come true, everything was fabulous.

We've finally unpacked, and we're slowly getting back to reality, although often we fall into daydreams of our happy times in Italy. We would like to thank all of you for making our Wedding and Honeymoon an experience that we will remember and cherish forever. you and your associates, Sara and Simona were very helpful and professional. We appreciate all the hard work that was necessary to make our dream wedding a reality and to make sure every detail was taken care of.
Simona, please thank the driver, videographer , photographer and musicians for their very professional work and making us feel very relaxed. Also, please thank Katia and Armando. Katia did a stunning job with Jean's hair and Armando's bouquet was absolutely beautiful. Lastly, please thank Rosie for us, she kept us very relaxed and made everything run very smoothly.
Sara, please thank: Mrs. Olivera Stojovic for her lovely night tour; Mrs. Emilia Moroni who made us feel as passionate about Florence and its history as she does; our cooking instructor, chef Milva at the Instituto de Medici who taught us how to make some delicious dishes very easily; and Mr. Silvio whose tour of Tuscany was breathtaking and delicious.
If we have forgotten to thank anyone please thank them for us. Once again, we thank the three of you for making our wedding a very special time for us.

I just wanted to write to you and let you know that our wedding was wonderful.
Everything went according to plan and in fact exceeded any expectations that we had. Everyone who looked at the photographers photo's are extremely jealous, they thought it was beautiful and very romantic. In fact Madeline's brother is thinking about arranging his wedding overseas, I already recommend your group.
Sonia, I would like to personally thank you for your prompt response to all Of my questions and issues. In addition, Claudia who helped us in Naples at The US consulate and Prefortura was very friendly and helpful. Rosie our interpreter was great she was very friendly and she made sure everything went smoothly during the ceremony. I want to thank World Weddings for suggesting Ravello, the town was so quaint and so beautiful, in fact it has the best view of the Almafi coastline.

I was so happy with your service that I wanted to thank you in addition to Charles' email below.
The florist was fantastic; he gave us exactly what we wanted from the online photos that I had sent. I loved the fact that we even had a chance to speak with the florist and view his professional photo book of past work that he had done. He showed us the flowers and colors he had chosen and wanted to make sure it was something we were happy with before he made the final floral arrangement. My bouquet and the boutonniere turned out so beautiful. After the wedding I gave my bouquet to a friend, she loved the bouquet so much that she was going to dry it out and keep the bouquet forever.
The reception lunch at the Villa Maria restaurant was perfect. It had the most romantic and most spectacular view of Ravello and the service we received was incredible. We were treated like we were the only customers in the restaurant. The food was delicious and we all agreed the wedding cake was one of the best cakes we had ever tasted.
The town hall was very intimate and a unique place to have the ceremony. It is something we will always remember. I do admit we did not know what to expect but we were all happy with the result. The wedding vows were very beautiful and we all participated in the reading, which made it very special. The mayor even gave us wedding gifts, which was unexpected. He also took digital pictures of us and emailed them instantly to our friends and family back home.
The photographer knew actually what he was doing and was very familiar with the garden Villa Cimbrone and its surrounding. He took us to the top of the mountain, above the clouds and the view of Ravello was just breath taking.
When we received the photos of the wedding and the photo album, all we can say is just how amazing and simply stunning they are.
We are so happy to say you and your staff helped make all this happen. You answered every one of our questions, helped us with legal requirements and assisted us throughout our wedding by keeping us in consist contact through phone and email. We were treated with professionalism and at the same time made us feel at easy about the process.
