Wedding in Positano and Honeymoon in Italy - May 2001

We are back after a long flight and missing Italy already. Seems like a wonderful dream! You did a fantastic job for us We talked about you often as we followed your itinerary and recommendations. Every hotel was excellent! Thank you for the flowers in Ravello. They treated us like a King and Queen at the Palazzo Sasso - we were upgraded to an ocean view from the first night!

The wedding coordinator and the photographers were excellent!! The wedding day could not have been more perfect or gone more smoothly! Bravo!!

The Villa Maria did a great job with the reception!! The food was some of the best we had in Italy and the room was set up beautifully. They showed us a villa next door that they are converting for events such as weddings. I would recommend this place to anyone interested in have a reception in Ravello. This would allow people to have music and dancing afterwards with a spectacular view! We are thinking of a way to come back and have a party there. (We got a little too noisy for the Palazzo Sasso after the wedding--but we had some fun nights at the piano bar).

Capri was spectacular and the hotel comfortable. We want to go back in a couple of years and rent a villa for 3-4 couples. We had a memorable evening at a new restaurant called the Villa Verde. Outdoors, fun staff, great food.

The hotel in Rome was very nice (new) and convenient. We liked being a little out of the center of the tourist hot spot. The restaurant in Florence was fantastic!! The manager and staff exceptionally warm and we had a great evening.

The Villa Scacciapensieri had a large suite for us and we were very comfortable there. The chauffeur guide put together an excellent day and we felt like we were being introduced to Tuscany by a close friend or relative. It was an authentic, non-tourist oriented experience and one we would highly recommend.

Castello de Spaltenna - our favorite hotel of the trip! What great atmosphere! Our room was one of their best, right next to the church. They have a great little bar in a wine cellar. We enjoyed every moment in this ancient place.

We really preferred Florence over Rome. Our hotel was excellent - lots of room, very luxurious and perfect location. Our guide was very good although maybe a little too academic for our background of knowledge on the Renaissance. A great education in 8 hrs even if overwhelming! We loved the combination of the people, the shopping, and the food! And thank you for the quick response after calling you on a Saturday at home! The fax was waiting for us at our hotel when we checked in and we did get in to see the David at the Accademia. Thank you!

It was over too fast ........ But what an experience!! As we say in the US., you and your staff really 'came through' for us! All our guests were so impressed with how well everything was planned. And we enjoyed every location you selected for us. I think I would choose to have fewer transfers and longer stays in fewer places next time, but we needed this overview to decide on our favorite spots!! But it's hard to imagine changing or eliminating anything at this point. We will face that challenge before our next trip.

I was just turning on the email to write you-what a coincidence. Yes, we just returned.

I don't know how to begin telling you how wonderful everything was!!!! Positano is a dream- a place that we and our families will NEVER forget. Absolutely beautiful and the people were so nice. We've already made the decision to go back and retrace our steps next year.

The coordinators were great. We ended up meeting a woman named Mary (a friend of the originally planned coordinator who had a conflict) in Naples. She was wonderful. She was our age and an american who had been living in Naples since she was 12. She was extremely helpful and we enjoyed spending time with her.

The drivers were wonderful and also very helpful throughout our Positano stay. We used them frequently. The coordinator and photographer on the day of the wedding were great too. No complaints at all.

The hairdresser was great. It was a really enjoyable and fun experience. Luisa was a neat woman and she did my hair better than I envisioned it.

The biggest compliment we can give though was the stay at the VILLA ROSA. It was amazing. Mario the manager is a wonderful, wonderful man. He made everything perfect. We were in awe of how great the experience was. I could go on and on but suffice it to say it was perfect. Thank you for recommending it and getting everyone in there!!!!! We're staying there again next year if everything works out. We enjoyed it a 1000 times over the Sirenuse. It was much more personal, private, special and less expensive. We learned a lesson.

The Covo dei Saraceni was exquisite. The staff was very inciteful and incredibly helpful. Paolo and Gino made everything perfect. We'll talk about that meal for months. Delicious and first class!

Thank you so much for everything. It was a wedding beyond our dreams. We took a ton of our own pictures and they turned out great. We look at them many times throughout the day. We can't wait to see the proofs from the Positano photographers.

By the way, Eric, myself and our families are now convinced that Italy is the most beautiful country in the world. We are so glad that it has become a part of our lives as it has.

Civil Wedding in Positano - August 2000

I can't tell you how amazing EVERYTHING turned out. I am so happy with the wedding in all. Especially the amazing dinner reception we had at Le Sirenuse. The food was like nothing I could describe, it was the most elaborate meal I think any of us has ever had. It will be remembered forever. Giovanna was great, please send her our Thanks! Also, the photographer, we were so happy with his work, we can't wait to see the photo's!

The flowers turned out beautiful. And also, the lady who met us in Naples was so wonderful, and helpful. Please also Thank her for us, we really liked her. Everything was perfect.

We already miss the Amalfi Coast and dream of returning soon.

I want to thank you so much for all the help you gave us in making our wedding very special. All of the plans and paperwork went like clockwork. There were no foul ups, no problems. The hotels were spectacular. The rooms at Le Agavi in Positano and Punta Tragara in Capri were incredible with views and terraces to die for. The ceremony and lunch were wonderful. The cars you arranged for were always on time and the drivers made the rides interesting. All the details regarding the ferries went off without a hitch also. Your detailed itinerary made everything easy.
