What is a Destination Wedding?Creating a successful Destination Wedding requires an experienced team of professionals working together. Euroevents has a top selection of wedding planners and service providers - here is a general idea of what they can do for you!
Arrange Accommodations and book Private Villa or Castles:
Whether it is booking a hotel for your family and guests or finding a dream castle for your ceremony and reception, your personal wedding coordinator will help you make the right selection. Our selection of properties is the best available and guaranteed to be unique, intimate and suitable for a marriage celebration.
Rental costs:
A rental fee is required to rent exclusively any type of structure such as a castle or villa. This option is perfect if you want your own place, complete privacy and freedom from the limitations most hotels will impose on music and noise.
Guest Activities
Many destination weddings offer 3 to 4 days of exciting guest activities to enhance the celebration such as.
- Special wine tours or excursions in the countryside - meals provided.
- Cooking courses followed by a meal
- Shopping or cultural tours
- Sailing or boat excursions with cocktails and catering
A special dinner preceding the wedding in a typical restaurant reflecting the region's culinary heritage can be arranged for your guests. From 3 to seven course banquets in rustic local restaurants or romantic castles. Special wine tasting evenings paired with gourmet cuisine are always a great success.
Transportation
Any kind of transfer can be arranged.
Welcome Package for guests
A delightful idea to welcome your guests to be accompanied with a program of the event's activities and maps of the location to greet your guests upon arrival in their hotel room.
Save the Date Letter
Prior to sending out wedding announcements, a Save the Date Letter allows everyone the chance to block their calendar and for you to announce activities, directions and hotel pricing for the wedding celebration.
Wedding Reception
Wedding receptions include multiple courses (3 to 4 is the norm but VIP events can climb to 8 or 9 in some countries) plus a cocktail hour, wines and dessert. Open bar is quoted separately. Good quality local wines and a champagne cocktail can also be included, it depends on the location.
In many countries it is customary to have the following:
- Welcome aperitif/cocktails with assorted appetizers.
- A sit down meal which can be either a buffet or a course by course seated dinner.
- Dessert, optional dessert buffet or just wedding cake.
- Open bars are optional.
- Wedding favours reflecting the local culture.
